My wife and I, in our late 60's, will be in Dallas in a week and a half for one night. Is this Hampton inn on park brook, Forest Hill Tx., which is off Forest Hill circle in a safe place. Thanks in advance.

Sorry - I posted something else here by mistake. Yes, the area looks OK although I don't really know it that well.

I had to look Forest Hill up. I had never heard of it, and it's no where near Dallas. If you're coming here for activities in the city of Dallas, then that's a terrible location. Not near anything interesting at all. You can usually find nice 3-4 star hotel rooms in much more desirable locations at a similar rate on sites like Hotwire.com.

Further looking on google maps, shows that it's near a prison and lots of mobile home parks. I'd pass on it. That part of 287 is kinda ugly.

Thanks for the replies. There is a train show at the Forest Hill civic center on Wichita, there fore, I was looking for a Forest Hill motel. It has good reviews but it is always good to find out from the locals.

Forest Hills is kind of OK right on HWY 20 but sketchy in many areas. It is a blue collar area with some ok neighborhoods and some pretty trashy places, too. It is southeast Fort Worth. I would look for something in Arlington near the Parks Mall or in Fort Worth near the Hulen Mall as better options.
