Well, Richardson City Council did make sure all the 'apartment kids' in the Palisades development are in Collin County and Plano school districts and not in Richardson's best district, so let's no be too quick to paint any city as being innocent here.

So the Richardson City Council did a huge disservice to the residents of Richardson by sending the apartment kids to a better school district? Shame on them.

I don't think that is what anyone was saying. They are just saying they are not great neighbors because they offloaded them to a neighboring district.

Ok, but the City of Richardson has nothing to do with the school district. That's the School Board of the ISD. So they have no responsibility as to where students are zoned to. Both school districts are very good, and particularly when it comes to students living in that immediate area.

Chat with the Richardson PD sometime about what a great neighbor Dallas is. Or any member of the city council.

That's a crock. Google around on that...there's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more to that than what you're alluding to. Way more. There's even a whole Facebook group still ******ing about how the old mayor allegedly did such and such...well, Google it for yourself.

The city doesn't "offload" residents of Collin County to PISD. The RISD operates independently of the City of Richardson, hence the "I" in "ISD." I thought we all knew that already.
