I think it's time to let Plano go.

We don't wanna see these topics in Dallas section.

Population of Plano was 270K in 2012.

It's probably over 300K now.

Definitely deserves it's own subthread

How do we let mods know??

Go Plano!!

I don't know about its own subforum, but I agree -- there are too many Plano school/real estate/companies moving here/jobs questions on this forum. This forum is heavily tilted toward the DFW northern suburbs, which are obviously family oriented, but surely there are more interesting things going on in DFW than Plano West's most recent SAT average score or the most recent preschool rankings.

Then maybe people should do a better job of posting about them.

I agree there is a lot of Plano talk, but maybe that's just because it is so strong (obviously with everything that been going on there recently). Arlington is much larger in terms of pop and we hardly ever see posts from there.

While I live in Plano now and wouldn't mind seeing a sub thread. It looks like they have the sub threads sectioned out by large geographic coverage areas. So not sure if they will do that or not

I chuckled at pre school rankings.

As a lifelong Dallasite, for the most part, Plano is doing so many things right. Dallas hasn't for along time.

I don't know how they plan subthreads but Plano definitely fulfills conditions.

A lot is happening in Plano

As Wittgenstein's Ghost said Dallas is basically DFW oriented.

I would be happy to see a separate Plano subthread

I just did a sample of the threads on the front page. I think there is some exaggeration. There aren't that many about Plano as some of you think.

A lot is happening in every city in the Metroplex really.

FWIW you don't actually have to read the Plano threads. For example, there was a recent thread on Gutter Repair. I don't need my gutter repairs, nor do I have a recommendation for gutter repair. So I did not open the thread about gutter repair. It was actually quite simple.
