Hi All,
We moving to Dallas next summer and are looking for schooling options for our now 3.5 year old before looking into housing alternatives. My work will be in Richardson and my husband's work location will most probably be in West Plano.
I will really appreciate if anyone can give us information about the best public elementary schools in West Plano and Richardson (close to UTD). Our daughter rigth now attends the preschool of a well respected Montessori school in the Chicago area. So, we will first probably start with a similar program (she will be 4 when we move) and move her when she is at kindergarten age. I will also appreciate any suggestions about private elementary schools in the area and good preschools. I heard good thing about the Montessori New Beginnings (in Plano) and the Spanish Schoolhouse for preschool, what do you guys think?
Thanks a lot for your help
Best,
gsoy

The best elementary schools in Richardson ISD on that side of the district are Brentfield, Bowie, Mohawk, Canyon Creek and Prairie Creek. They all feed into Pearce High school which is near Coit and Campbell and they are all exemplary.

I agree with the previous poster about best West Plano schools. All three are great. My kids went to Centennial. It was excellent.
