Percentage that people buy a house in garland? Or what is the interest rate on a home loan? Home loans are not area specific to garland.

If it is the interest rate that all depends upon your credit score (FICO) and what the banks are willing to loan you with what you put down as a down payment etc.

Also that are your basic 30yr fixed and variables, but then there are some squirley interest only and negative amertized loans that you want to stay the heck away from. There are payment calculators all over the web.

I thought the average interest rate was around 6.5% but they change and each bank is different. I think this particular question would be suited more towards a loan consultant.

Hm. I thought deejay was referring to property tax percentage rates.... In which case you would want to check the Dallas Central Appraisal District's website www.dallascad.org for more information.
