I have a first floor condo in Carrollton that is in need of a 2-ton central a/c unit. The heater does not work either. The outdoor unit is on the roof of the two-story building. The indoor portion is in the bathroom ceiling. Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that can install the unit?

I did a search and found some responses in the forum from about 3 years ago, but I know a lot can change in 3 years. Has anyone had any recent dealings with HVAC companies? What is a reasonable price for the unit and installation? About two years ago, I received two quotes for $2800 and $4500. Are these reasonable? Too high or too low?

Thanks in advance!

Try out Home Depot. They usually have tie up with great HVAC vendors who sometime do offer discounts on HVAC purchases
