We recently relocated to the DFW area. I'm looking for suggestions on custom (not luxury) home builders who will build based on my plan on my lot. Hopefully with 45 minutes of North/Northeast/Northwest of Dallas love field. Any recommendations? Thanks!!!

45 minutes at what time of day? More than likely, you're going to need to look further out.

Does that include the cost of the lot, or just the build?

Includes the cost of the lot which would be no greater than $150k

That's going to be difficult. You can start at the Dallas Builders Assoc-
http://web.dallasbuilders.com/BUILDERS-RESIDENTIAL

In today's market, you are looking at roughly $200-$300 per sq.ft. not including the land purchase.
Using your top end budget, the max would be a 2000 sq.ft. home

Has anyone had any experience with Hoebeke builders, that can share project cost and $/sq.ft?
