There is no need to be rude, sir. I am asking for assistance, and that is all. If you cannot help, please do not comment. Thank you.

The majority of GCISD is white, although there are many other races represented. Your commute to DFW Airport would be mere minutes, and wouldn't even require getting on the freeway.
Thank you, I will look into this.

a nice neighborhood and nice school system...
Another suggestion could be in the Frisco and Plano region.

...DFW means DFW airport ?

A little about myself. I moved from Joburg to Rhode Island for an excellent opportunity two years ago. The weather and I do not agree as I am not accustomed to this cold. I have always wanted to live in Dallas and that is where I am transferring this January.

I am seeking a nice neighborhood and nice school system. Here is my info:

- I will be working at DFW so any thing around there within a 30 minute drive is acceptable.
- Housing: $300K (but would be happy if I find a nice place cheaper).
- School: Twin girls, age 6, 2nd grade

For demographics, I am black but I much prefer white neighborhoods if there are any.

Please, your advice is much appreciated. Thank you.

If he means DFW airport then Plano or Frisco would be horrible choices.

Yes, sorry, I mean the airport. DFW airport. I was looking at Plano and it looks like a decent area. How is the commute? And what is traffic like during rush hour?

Yes, sorry, DFW Airport.

When you say horrible choices, are you referring to the traffic or crime?

Traffic. It's a long ways from Plano to DFW Airport and even further to Frisco. At least 30 miles and 90 minute commute during rush hour.

The traffic from Plano to DFW would be pretty bad. Grapevine is a great bet for your needs if you can afford it. Crime is not an issue in either city.
