Trane and American Standard are basically the same units manufactured in the same plant from what I researched. I got an American Standard with a 10-year warranty a couple of years ago for a lot cheaper than a Trane. Just an FYI, if it matters....

Default HVAC Replacement - recommendations

I need to replace my 17 year old HVAC units at my old home in Richardson. Would appreciate if anyone can send me some contractor recommendations for this.

For 2 units it seems right, especially if resizing is needed. Avoid the low SEER units. We installed 17 SEER iover 10 years ago. Your utility may give a rebate for the higher efficiency, electric prices aren't going down for sure.
