I live right next to "The Trails" community mentioned above. Its a hidden gem, but I wouldn't consider it a master-plan community.

We were just at South Pointe about a week ago. We like it but we're kinda iffy about it being so far out and away from everything. Do you have any other opinions about this community?

Yeah, I had heard about the possible foundations issues when they first started construction of the homes. I was just giving them an idea of what's out there. South pointe is on the out skirts of Mansfield so the distance to Downtown FW/Dallas or DFW airport will take awhile. Its no further away then Haslet or Allen to the inner cities. The proximity to 287 and 360 is a nice help. Technically all of the land south of the community is part of the South pointe overlay, so like Viridian it will have its own schools and shops within the district.
