Looking for a good dog trainer in the DFW area. Prefer a balanced trainer (negative correction & positive reinforcement).

Anyone have any recommendations? Thank you!

P.S. I'm not interested in starting a debate on different training methods. A balanced approach is my preference.

What a Great Dog has opened a location in Richardson. They have classes and private lessons. Their Frisco location is fabulous!

I've been using a trainer for my puppy that comes to your home every two weeks until he/she is ready for his once a month group classes. He believes that everyone in your family including your kids should be able to safely interact with your dog. He even teaches dog pool safety if that's a concern. He usually starts with leash training so that you have a a safe, hands free way to correct your dog. I liked that because it meant that my kids could safely correct our puppy. He's not cheap but the flat fee is for the life of your dog. Message me if you're interested in details.
