You could certainly homeschool if you can do better.

Well, I hate to break it to you, but seeing as how the curriculum and level of rigor get HARDER in middle school but due to puberty, kids' behavior, attention span, and work ethic simultaneously get WORSE, your kid(s) is the one you should be worried about and not so much the teacher.
