I never said it was low standards. I said I found it not as appealing due to its proximity to less than desirable neighborhoods and I found it older and more tired looking than an alternative city that appealed to me. I find a Ferrari small and cramped. Does that mean I think it's a terrible car? No, but I find some alternative more appealing. Learn to read what is written.

The standards comment had nothing to do with HP. It had to do with what they consider a ghetto. I have friends in HP that love it. I consider their standards very high.

The kyam poster has to be either a troll or just very strange. If you wear Southlake like a badge of prestige, it's no wonder you feel the sting of public opinion that has never attached prestige to it. It's a Texas suburb.

Southlake has some very pretty side streets, but there is nothing in Southlake or any suburb (other than maybe Westchester county in NY) that can compare to Beverly Drive in HP. The ghetto comment is laughable.

I'm sure many houses in Southlake are the brick builder's type homes that are typical of Texas. But HP is much nicer due to the older homes that are all different, very rich and elegant looking.
