Default Sticky for Dallas Area events/festivals...

How about a sticky for people to post events, festivals, exhibits, etc that are going to be going on in the area? Posters that are coming into Dallas to visit are always asking what to do. Starting in March/April thru September/October this area is HOPPING w/ stuff going on. If someone can't find something to do they are hiding under a boulder I think we have posted events before on a thread but they always disappeared to the bottom then the next page and off the map. A sticky would keep them up to the top. ???????????

Rather than a sticky for just special events, take a look at this index sticky that the CO moderator, mikefrombackeast, set up for the Colorado forum:

http://www.city-data.com/forum/color...links-key.html

Since Spree had suggested subforums before for suburbs (see http://www.city-data.com/forum/dalla...sub-forum.html ), I believe this is a setup that would work well for the Dallas forum for that same purpose... plus many more... really pretty awesome I think, and avoids all the bulk of adding subforums, extra threads, stickies, etc.

If y'all like the idea, I'll get with da jammer and if he agrees, will offer to help him start getting it set up for the Dallas forum.
