It'd be nice, but I'll believe it when I see it. Personally I love the show...DH hates it!

Loved that show. I'' in Wylie, Tx and would love to have Hank, Peggy, Boomer as neighbors.

Arlen was far enough north that Hank and the gang had to literally make it a full day trip to get down to Corpus Christie with Boomhauer in one episode.

King of the Hill was based on Mike Judge's memories of living in the east Richardson/west Garland part of Dallas from I believe way back in the late 1970's or early 1980's. It's really just supposed to depict an idyllic small town Texas life. Neither Garland nor Richardson is anything remotely like that show anymore, if it ever was that close. You'd hit closer by just picking a random Texas town outside of the big metros with a population between 20,000-100,000. I'm not sure if alleyways behind the homes are that common in Texas, though. That seems to be a North Dallas thing.
