So there are a number of great options in West Richardson that are in your price range. I grew up in west Richardson. Neighborhoods in 75080 like Greenwood Hills, Richardson Heights, Cottonwood Heights and Northrich will all have some great options for you. Homes are selling fast in the area but you should have no problem finding something in the 1300sqft-1800sqft range under 275k.

Whoops missed that part, just saw she was looking near Dallas. Either way sometimes you have to sacrifice a little bit, might still be something to consider as she finds out what that price range will get you in the northern burbs

Stay as close to Richardson as possible. You might really enjoy the Emeritus program nearby at Richland college. There's a very active (not formal but when you are enrolled in yoga or aerobics you'll find out about) senior fun group that goes on field trips and coffees and is quite social. Good way to meet other local retiress!

Thank you, do you know the names of the condos you mentioned?

Paradiso
Pagewood Townhomes
Ambassador House Condos

I am not personally familiar with them, just saw some nice listings online. Several currently under contract but if you find a complex you like, you could always wait for another one to come up. Good luck
