Very little grafitti; relatively safe for a large metro area; housing prices still affordable for people In comparison to other large metro areas with a good economy; good airports; DART rail; lots of great restaurants; mild winters; some decent public schools; upbeat vibe.

Agreed...it's relatively clean from a blight perspective, at least on the northern side of things. The air quality seems worse than average.

Relatively safe...isn't DFW about middle of the pack when it comes to average crime rates? It has certainly improved since the early 90s, that's for sure.

Airport links are good if that's important to you.

TX Cuisine which really means BBQ and steakhouses.
Low property taxes
Low income taxes
Better politics
Less socialism
Much much cleaner
Newer infrastructure
Nicer people
Much much more community feel where I live
Better traffic
World class airport
Well laid out freeway system
Central location in US
Much better facilities like hospitals, doctors offices, etc
Much better middle class options
Great job market not focused on one particular sector
Incredible schools in very affordable areas (when compared to other large metro areas)
Teachers can actually live in the communities they teach in
One's ability to live in a nice city (suburb) near where they work if they choose to do so
Fiscal conservative values
Emphasis placed on public schools in suburbs throughout DFW
Lack of natural disasters comparatively speaking (earthquake and hurricane specifically)
Great weather (Like the fall, spring, and winter here better than CA). Hate the summers comparatively speaking.

Always something new
The people
The skyline
The airport
The weather 8 months out of year
Sports
Events/festivals
Within 5 hours of several major cities
Diversity lots of cultures

I moved here from NYC and I appreciate that it has no state or city income taxes. The property taxes are high but probably less than paying city income taxes so then the lack of state income taxes is just gravy.
That leaves more income for things my family enjoys like travel. international/Europe travel kinda sucks and is way more expensive than the northeast but the Caribbean/Mexico and western US are easier and cheaper.
The main thing I would say is that it's just easier here. Easier to get in the car and get out of the city for the weekend. The idea that being able to leave a place is a positive can be understood by anyone who has lived in NYC. It's easier to get your kid a good education here whether that's public school or private school. I mean people in New York stress about this the second they pee on the stick. Here you might stress about moving to Plano or Richardson or wherever else, but it's nothing like there. It's easier doing grocery shopping. You have a car and can go to the store if you want or you can have it delivered like you are used to.
You will give up some in restaurant quality but unless you were going to $1000 dinners every weekend and trying every single new high end place in the city, you won't feel let down.
The city does need a good kids museum, but that's probably the most glaring thing missing for a major city. The Perot and Arboretum are ok but inferior than many mid-sized or small cities' kid museums.

(Relatively) Affordable housing, decent sized flat lots
Better traffic than a lot of large metro areas like Atlanta, LA
Central U.S. location, easy access to east/west coast, two airports
Abundance of restaurants (variety and quality could be better here IMO, but you can find what you're looking for usually)
Mild winter (I guess)
Surprisingly decent & inexpensive craft beer/breweries
Excellent business climate, diverse economy, mucho jobs
Variety of neighborhoods, people
Presumably safe from most natural disasters, but obviously not 100% safe
Not overtaken by homeless people
Texas BBQ
