Are there any legit (non-tourist traps, not overpriced, real chef) dining options in downtown Dallas for a Friday or Saturday evening that are easily accessible by DART light rail (and safe to walk to and from)?

And if not accessible by DART, then just in general, any legit dining options?

Interested to hear both.

CBD Provisions fits all these requirements (unless you are unwilling to walk 3 blocks from DART). Dallas Fish Market sort of does, but I used to like it more than I did the last couple times I went. Neither are cheap, but I wouldn't call them overpriced the way I would call Iron Cactus an overpriced, mediocre spot. I also really like Wild Salsa way more than I expected to the first time I went. Could be worth checking out.

CBD Provisions
Cafe Momentum - food is pretty good, their mission statement is wonderful!
Tei-An @ One Arts Plaza is fabulous. Not cheap but definitely the best fine Japanese restaurant in Dallas.
