I was curious if Stevie Ray Vaughan lived in Dallas after getting signed and becoming a household blues name in the 1980s?

Okay, now that I can confirm my memories of what I thought I recalled -

Yes, he lived on Travis St, just a stones throw from lower Greenville. He used to frequent the Whole Foods there, which my (then) girlfriend and I both work at, prior to and after his death.

The first time I read this, I thought "wait, how did he get to Whole Foods AFTER he died?!"

Unsure. It had already been open for a while by the time my girlfriend began working there in '88 and I in '89. According to the internet, it opened in '86. SRV's appearances there seemed to coincide with his getting sober. Not sure what the connection might have been, that's just what I recall observing.

That would have been so awesome! Did you get his autograph?
