Ok I'm not from Dallas or even in Dallas so I need someone to be my eyes. I'm looking to buy a commercial property but is this a safe area. Is the building likely to be vandalized? The street is Kemrock Dr, Dallas, TX 75241.

This is ten miles from downtown to the south (slightly north of I20), and the most expensive house is $143k, most are $100k or less. In most of Dallas, a chain link fence on the front of your house is against code but here plenty have one. Loop 635 is approximately 10 miles from downtown to the north, so that's the distance we are talking. Only about 50% of the lots even have a house on them, the rest are empty.
