A lot of grocery stores will give you boxes if you ask. You may have to call ahead and tell them to save you some, but it's usually not a problem. U-Haul sells pretty much anything you can imagine, I'm not sure about their prices.

Default Craigs list??

Have a look on Craigs list or Freecycle. You may just find people who've just moved and have boxes they are willing to pass on.

I second looking on Craigslist or Freecycle.

We got our boxes and packing materials from U-Haul and Public Storage. IMO, it's expensive. U-Haul will, however, buy back any boxes you don't use. There is this place in Garland (also a location in Plano),
Dallas Packing Supplies Dallas Shipping Supplies Dallas Packaging Materials Dallas Bubble Wrap Dallas Styrofoam Peanuts Dallas Styro Sheets Dallas Mailing Tubes, and their prices are much more reasonable. (I did not discover until after the fact.)
