I have an eviction from Oct. 2006 due to non-payment of rent when I lost my job.
I make about $1,000 a month and would like somewhere near Downtown Dallas. Does anyone have any suggestions? I need to be near a DART line. |

I'd suggest over near the LBJ/Skillman station, or perhaps off Forest Lane. I know a few people who live in the area and manage to afford living there on a retail income. You can usually find an apartment between $450-600/mo for a one bedroom. From those areas it is a quick trip on light rail to downtown.
