Default Living in Lake Highlands and may want to upgrade

We currently live in our first home over in 75238 (100-180k homes). We really like it, especially for a starter home, but we're thinking in the next couple of years we'd like to upgrade to something a little bigger. What areas of Lake Highlands should we look? I'd like a nice neighborhood and something with a walk-in closet, fireplace, nice sized kitchen and yard. Something in the 200-220k range (depending on what we get when we sell). I'm specifically looking for what zip codes and streets to look at. I've also heard Little Forest Hills is nice. I work downtown and my commute from LH rocks.

TIA!

Little Forest Hills is nice, but for the majority, the homes are tiny and probably not what you want. Have you looked at the listings?...in 75218.

Good to know, then I'll stick with LH. Now I just need to know which streets/zips to look for in LH

75238 - is that the L-Streets?

We looked in 75243 (inside I-635) and 75231 - but most of the homes are really > $250K. With that said, I did a quick search and one popped up that looks pretty decent - MLS #10975553 on Club Meadows drive - it's a 4br, 2ba, 2100 sq ft home that looks from the outside to be well maintained and is listed at $220K.

In 75231, I think the street name is High Oaks Circle that has a small area with homes in your price range, it's at the South-East corner of Walnut Hill and Fair Oaks. I think it's a small zero-lot line area. We walked through one and it seemed to be well maintained.

Those are the only two ZIPs that I have personally researched...

75238 is East of Plano Rd between Kingsley and NW Hwy. I'm close to Lowes
