Considering a move to the Dallas are. I have 2 sons with high functioning Autism, ages 7 and 10. I am actually considering a move almost anywhere that is the best school and private services for my kids. Any Autism moms out there, I would appreciate your feedback. Currently, researching private school options as I think a smaller school would be better. Thanks!

My Aspy son went to Great Lakes Academy for his middle school years. An awesome school for those with learning differences. My son then transferred to the Plano ISD high school and did well there.

This program was developed here in the Denton area by families who have autistic children. They would know
a great deal about what is available here in DFW area.

Don’t do it unless you can afford 20k-35k a year PER kid for a specialized private school. You are in for a fruitless fight with public isds here.
