Remember that thread a few weeks ago? We have been enjoying it for a couple of weeks now and do hope it will increase our chance to get someone interested in buying the house. I went with a dark brown on the walls called Cupcake Chocolate Brown by Behr, which looks fantastic with the white speakers, moldings and the furniture. We were on a budget and feel that the money was well spent. I am so glad we kept our ivory leather set and blue recliner. We almost gave those away. We also are using the back area for our kids toys still, I don't think it hinders the room in any way.

Today is our official first day on the market, I don't think we can sell it but it is worth a try. I am really glad too that no one came today. It was rather hectic, being mother's day and all.

Here is a picture of the room

Good job!

When we sold our last house we made sure a movie was playing when the house was showing... we picked something that would show off the system, but not offend anyone which always wound up being something like Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, etc. Pixar movies have great sound and video

My dh and I had that conversation last night and agreed it had to be tasteful and nothing offensive. We agreed that The Water Horse would be perfect along with some Disney or Pixar animation.
