No offense, but LA has waaaay more things to do than Dallas. You can't really compare the two.

Have you ever been to LA? If not you can't assume that just because it's a big city that it has the same or is on par with another city.
For starters Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theater, Mountaing Biking, beaches, hiking, surfing, scuba, kayaks, rock climbing, mountain state parks, Chinese Theater, Griffith Park Observatory, Movie Studio Tours, greater selection of Art Museums (btw, Dallas has one of the poorest Art districts for a city its size in the US), greater selection of musuems period, greater selection of restaurants, movie theaters, DisneyLand and thats just the tip of the iceberg.

been to LA many many times, have family there and in the bay area. So, like I said, except for the Ocean, we have as many things in Dallas as they do in LA to do, many not in Number but in terms of things to do, we have it too.
we have six flags, sports teams, Texas State fair, etc. So we have tons of things, thanks you answered my question

Stop the bickering. Good grief. We know very well that akkknard does not like Dallas or Texas at all and is wanting to move to California. The lady was just asking about some things in Dallas for her to decide to move here. She CLEARLY stated that she has visited Dallas many times and did not miss LA on those visits. There were many things HERE in Dallas that she LIKED over LA!!! So stop it, please. Or else this thread is going to get closed all because one person gets upset because some people w/ more experience in this city are giving answers to those inquiring and we happen to LIKE IT HERE. If you don't like it and someone asks about the negatives, feel free to jump in. But there is no need to slam every response just because YOU don't like the place your living. There are MANY places in this great world of ours for us all to live and find happiness. If this lady is not happy in LA, she can move anywhere she wants. If your not happy with the decisions you've made to live here then you are free to move somewhere else that I do hope you find happiness. There is NO PLACE ANYWHERE that EVERYONE is going to LIKE 100%.
Btw, the capitals are not for "screaming", rather they are for emphasing my points.

If someone can't handle their statements being challenged, then they shouldn't be posting. You can't make a statement that is completely untrue and then expect no one to speak up.
You're trying to make me to be out the bad guy simply because i've gotten under your skin. I never said the lady couldn't move here, I simply corrected the gentleman and his assumption that Dallas has as many things to do as LA does. There's nothing wrong with me pointing that out.

I never said Dallas didn't have anything to do, but as I proved, there are alot more things to do in LA than Dallas, and if you read carefully you'll see that they dont' all involve the beach.
