Midlothian is about 30 minutes south of Dallas, so you may want to concentrate on the job hunting in Dallas. I personally don't know of major employers down there. Check careerbuilder.com or monsterjobs.com
Here is the link to the local chamber of commerce, check which employers are members and go from there. I hope it helps. Midlothian Chamber of Commerce
Midlothian is a nice community. They do have some issues with air quality because of the cement factory down there. Will you be able to move before securing a job first?

If you are still looking for a job I would suggest staying more centrally located. You do NOT want to get an apt or house in Midlothian and your job end up being in North Dallas. YIKES, TERRIBLE commute that would be.

Really appreciate all the advice. When I took the position here in New York, the job told me that it would be a commute around the corner, the commute turned out to be in a whole other county or shall I say a few counties over. And over the Bear Mountain, which I hated when it was snowing and It took me a whole hour to get to work. I cried, I really began to miss Texas. I am going home now. To Texas that is... The LoneStar State is where I belong... I love it and sure miss A good Steak.

With the cement plant in Midlothian I would be concerned about the air quality.
