Default Where to Live

Hello,

I will be working in the South Lake area however I'm looking the best place to live in between work and North Dallas. I'm an AA female and don't want to be completely isolated from diversity. I've gotten suggestion of Las Colinas and Farmers Branch. I'm told both would be a mid point between South Lake and North Dallas. I will be looking for an 2 bedroom apt, max rent $1000 range.

Thanks

I don't know if Grapevine is diverse enough. Great area though.

Lewisville would be my suggestion, especially for the diversity thing and price range.
Grapevine honestly doesn't have a lot of apartments...

I lived at The Meridian. It's in Carrollton, but it's literally a stone's throw from Lewisville (I think it's even in the Lewisville ISD)...it's at I 35 and SH 121, and looks like they can get you in a 2/2 for around $1000...

We loved it, and wouldn't have moved if we hadn't got transferred...

Good luck and welcome to DFW...

Gapevine would be nice and close. There ARE quite a few apts around Grapevine HS that seem very nice. There are some over off of Texas Trail (business 114) but they are not as nice.

I'm a AA male and I would suggest Lewisville for diversity. There are quite a few nice apartments in your price range that are only minutes from the Mall.

You could try Bella Vida at Coyote Ridge, Meridian, Windsong Apt. communities. All are apartment communities in the North Carrollton/Lewisville areas. And all are off 121.
