relo to dallas (NE job)--- too many options
I am planning on relo-ing to Dallas for a job near 75 and 635. We are considering several suburbs that seem to have good schools and value.
Frisco, McKinney, Flower Mound, and Rockwall.
They all seem around the same distance, but it is hard to judge real commute time for these locations. I would appreciate any inputs on real travel times.
Thanks

Stick with any burb with easy access to 75. Plano,McKinney,Allen if you like surburban living. Richardson or Lake Highlands if you prefer a more mature neighborhood. Garland may also be a possibility.

I agree, of your choices, the only one with an "easier" commute would be McKinney since it's already along 75. The other choices would be traveling along multiple highways before reaching 75 & 635, and there are plenty of other places closer in that are nice.

If I had to pick between those four, I would pick McKinney for the same reason as others listed. Really, though I would find something closer - Dallas, Richardson, Plano, Allen.

Rockwall has a lot of TI employees and it's located at 635 & 75. It's not a bad commute either 30-40 minutes tops! Flower Mound would be well over an hour.
