We are looking for a bike trail that is paved and continuous. We live in Richardson and they have a trail, but you have to stop every 1/2 mile to cross the street. Anyone know of any such trails?

White Rock Trail Community Trails/White Rock Trail has a start point at Hillcrest and 635 and winds all the way down to White Rock Lake. You can start from the beginning, do a loop around the lake and then back for a total of about 25 miles. Or just ride partway down and return, depending on the distance you want.

Also check out Breckinridge Park in Richardson. MILES of paved trails that twist and wind thru the park w/ no cross streets. Plenty of park areas along the was as well.

There's a really nice one in Las Colinas (north Irving) and another in Arlington.

The best two options for you are:

1. Owens Trails in Richardson. The trailhead is at Lookout Park by Owens Farm. Paved trails only here.
2. Arbor Hills in West Plano. Excellent paved and off road trails.

You might also check out DORBA Home Page and see if they have any other information.
