Default Time Warner Employees in DFW area

Hi! My name is Amy and I'm moving from Orlando in 2.5 weeks. I currently work for a sister company of Time Warner, though I can't transfer. They no longer do internal transfers with our company or any other for that matter. I would start as a new employee. Thats great, I don't mind.. but I can't get in touch with any one. If any one works for TWC, I'd gladly put you down as my referral if you could just get me a contact, or give my Resume to HR. I'm very technical, and would make a great addition to the team.. I just need an in. I've been applying on their website for nearly every job, hoping someone sees my resume and calls me.. but so far, no luck. I was told by my Director that their website service, Brass ring, is really finicky and doesn't forward all the resumes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Amy, my husband Tim was your corporate controller over a year ago. He actually was there from the end of 2002 till August 2005.

We have been here in Dallas Fort Worth for over a year now and are so happy we decided to come home. Robert Moel runs a tight ship over at the regional office in Flower Mound and actually Tim applied to be his regional controller some time ago when we were still over in Orlando. He did not get the job and we were devastated at the time however as I say God had a plan for us and he blessed Tim with a better opportunity here making better pay and not as stressful as cable can be.

My husband said not to just think of cable as your source of employment but to look at other companies out there and put your resume out there on the net through Monster. com ect. May I ask exactly what your position was over in Orlando?

I don't know what your position entails but understand that there are more jobs here than Orlando and the pay scale is going to be much better. The cable company there is one of the better places to work because of benefits and pay however compared to here, it would not be. There are plenty of thriving companies here and you are bound to get a good job, so I would not worry about trying to find an in into Time Warner here. I also believe that customer service is rooted through New Jersey which if you are a cable operator would do you no good.

Did you work over in Maitland? If you do, you probably know who my husband is.

Thanks for the reply! I have posted my resume on Monster and Career builder, but until I'm actually there, I guess its not doing me much good. I work in Maitland for the "PAC" team, which works with Digital Phone. I have also done technical support for their HSD.

Thanks for the tips though... I'll keep looking.

I'm not sure which John you are referring to, In a call center there are so many people though!

Is there any way your husband still has an HR contact over there though?
