Smile Moving from Australia to Richardson and need some advice

Yep, giving up the land of the crocodile hunter for life in Texas, who would have ever figured.

I have been looking at different places in Richardson and surronding areas, Plano/Frisco but that only confused me.....

What I need is some advice on where to live.. prefer something upmarket, secure and near trails/trees and or water, as I like to get out and do some running and excercise..

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

If you're more into parks, recreation, the outdoors, and lakes, while not wanting to live far out into the country, I would recommend Plano or Frisco instead of Richardson. I've lived in both cities and, as far as i know, the East Plano/North Richardson (Shiloh rd. and east) area has a lot of big parks such as Bob Woodruff Park (& lake) and Breckenridge Park, as well as easy access to Lake Lavon, a popular boating/fishing spot in the local area.
