Default Apartment recommendations in Uptown?

Hi, I graduated from college and moved in with my parents for the time being but I'm hoping to move out to the Uptown area as I like it there. I've done searches for apartments but it's hard to separate the good from the bad on the internet. I will eventually probably get a realtor but I want to go in with some ideas. Does anyone live in uptown? Do you have any apartment recommendations? Do you like it there?

Thanks for any help!

Uptown is a great area. Most of the Post and Gables properties are newer and more expensive. I lived in Cole's Corner years ago and never had any problems. However, the smell from Breadwinners and Primo's was too tempting and I found myself eating there more than I should have.

I think you are wise to get an apartment locater to help you if you are unfamiliar with the area. They can save you a lot of time.

There are a few older less expensive apartments in the area but be warned you might get a notice to evacuate in one of those if they sell to a developer.
