Loneranger, I grew up in East Dallas and you grew up in Preston Hollow so perhaps our impressions of Dallas are different. East Dallas is eclectic.

Yes, very much more so. Preston Hollow is really rather boring.

But compared to Austin, especially Guadalupe or 6th St or South Congress, East Dallas isn't particularly eclectic at all.

Talking cool ppl live in dallas-fortworth-arlington area

dallas and fortworth's radio stations hacked tickets to see celebritys like,
Lady Gaga,Justin Timberlake,Usher,Flo Rida,Jason Derulo mostly by KHKS 1061 kiss Fm and mix 1029 and then K 104,so they treat Austin Like Dirt or fools gold
i am currently right now hanging around in Waco TX but real home is Fort Worth
oh and don't forget Fort Worth Counts as Dallas Citizens sometimes and count as dallas
