Default Working in Lewisville ISD

What's it like working for Lewisville ISD? How does it compare to Plano, Frisco, McKinney, etc.? I am considering a teaching position there and would like some help with my decision.

My child attends LISD and so far I've been okay with the district...
they are a slightly behind in some ways of teaching ...math primarily in the elementary area...I say this because I work for a neighboring school district and we are quite a bit ahead of the game.

I think though according to my child's classroom teacher that LISD will be more current in the fall with math as they are revamping their math program if I understood her correctly.

I think you would be okay as far as what the district has to offer you in the way of pay and insurance. Their pay is competitive and insurance is the TRS Active Care plan which is the state insurance. Most of the districts are going to this plan due to insurance cost soaring.
