I dont think so. Most people are mature enough to discuss these issues without resorting to race baiting.

areas of White affluence are known by everyone and concentrated in well known pockets of the metro, hence there has never been a reason to ask in my opinion.

I disagree, I remember when a poster ask for suggestions on majority white surburbs and suggestions were given to her without using the word racist.
