I don't remember which forum it was on (guess I read to many) but I remember someone said where they were and the general consensus was who cares, let's move on. It definitely didn't turn into an entertaining chat like this one is.

That is pretty much all of the Dallas area and us "natives" when it comes to "celebrity seeings". No one round here really cares to get THAT distracted that someone "famous" could be in the room or nearby. Most could care less. Sure some might say, "Oh, I was at _____ and "x" was there too". No biggie.
Guess that is why most celebs don't mind coming to Dallas or Texas and some end up making it their home or having one here.

okay, okay - i wouldn't rush up to them and bug them or anything, but i would get really excited and attempt to take a photo w/ my camera phone w/out them seeing. i don't see celebrities everyday!! i think it's neat - not b/c they're a big deal or more special than we are - but b/c we see them on tv and then they're there in real life. i could see myself getting over it though if i saw them around enough.

Very Funny story, years ago when Leroy Glover(I call him Big Glove) was still at SDSU we went to a party at the La Jolla Marriott. we split up for a min. and I went to the bar and started having drinks, shooting the $hit with this guy next to me, well when Big Glove was done finish talking to this girl, I got up and walked over to him and he said "I see you were having drinks with Emmit Smith " I never paid any mine the whole time who I was talking to, I just wanted to get a few drinks in me before this girl I was dating showed up LOL.

I see retired pro sports players at my gym a lot. They usually talk to me because I treat them like anyone else. There are a lot of brownnosers that hang around them and I am amazed that they can be so nice to these intrusive and rude people.

When I was working out in Valley Ranch we had a ton of Cowboys and Stars as clients. It was no big deal at all. One day this OTHER customer comes in (this guy was NOT a celeb in any way, shape or form) and starts bad mouthing Jimmy Johnson (former coach of the Dallas Cowboys). How rude he was and all. Turns out this moron saw JJ jogging down the road did a double turn around and pulled back up beside him and jumped out wanting his autograph. WTH!!!!!! LEAVE THE GUY ALONE! I'd say JJ handled it better than I would have.
You always wonder when you hear of a celeb getting into a fight if it was provoked by the moron that got in their face when they were doing something private (dinner, movie, shopping, working out, etc) and would not let up. I don't blame some of them for knocking these pests out.

Hey I met Stacey Dillard a former New York Giants and Limuel Stinson a former Chicago Bear this past week.
They taught my son's football camp. Turns out Stacey and Limuel are coaches over at Princetorn. Stacey is the head coach and Limuel is an offensive coordinator( I believe that is what it is) They are great guys. They were graciously signing trading cards after the camp and I got pictures with my son..

I did see Debbie Denmon (Channel 8 news anchor) at the Dillards Outlet. I didn't talk to her but she was very nice and gracious to everyone who said something to her.
