Oddly, DH adores Albertson's cupcakes. They're OK for storebought, but I hate Albertsons. A lot. I actually was boycotting them years back which sucked because that's where my bank branch was. DH was horrible about wandering off while I was banking and showing back up with cupcakes. He just didn't seem to get that the point of the boycott meant not buying anything there.

I think Sprinkles cupcakes are yummy, but my husband hates them. They taste more like mini cakes to me, which I like.
I think Whole Foods and Central Market has some delicious cakes too. The strawberry shortcake and berry chantilly (I think that's what it's called) at WF was yummy. And the raspberry chocolate truffle cake at CM was delicious.
There aren't too many cakes I don't love though
Cold Stone Creamery also makes good ice cream cakes.
And the cakes at La Duni were delicious too.
I've also heard good things about the cake at Costco, if you're a member there.
Happy Birthday to your daughter!

Whole Foods hands down has some of the best baked goods besides some specialty stores. Their berry chantilly cakes are FABULOUS! (I never use this word but in this instance it is definitely the truth) I used to work with this Vietnamese woman who would bake cakes for peoples birthdays at work and they were to die for. Whole Foods is the only store I've ever bought a store bought cake that even came close to this sort of homemade quality. I remember growing up and NEVER liking store bought cakes i.e. Winn Dixie (thank God they're gone) Kroger, Albertson's et al. They always tasted so confectionary and full of chemicals. Anyway, enough of my ranting, you know where my vote goes.
