I am expecting to move to Frisco area soon from Hattiesburg, MS.... but I also spent about 5 years in Atlanta. I'm looking for a somewhat upscale pool room with 20+ tables. Interested in playing in pool tournaments as well. Not looking for a Dave & Busters or smaller places with a table or two. I've searched "Billiards" in yellowpages.com, but I usually find that there are some that are just not listed there... suggestions?

You could try Fox & Hound - it is more of a sports/billiards bar (big screens and good food), but they have nice tables (I think they even have snooker tables). It's not a general gaming place like D&B, but more an upscale pool hall. The closest one to Frisco is near the Southwest edge of Plano, at Midway and George Bush (190), and there is another one in Lewisville off I-35. I don't know if they have tournaments there (probably not) - Fox & Hound Restaurant Group

I don't think there are many (if any) pool halls in Frisco, mainly because they have not extended the drinking hours to 2am like the rest of the area. Most of what you will find there are bars with a couple of tables.
