I've lived in Mountain Creek, an area of Dallas nestled between Duncanville, Cedar Hill, and Grand Prairie for 5 years now.
I've never, ever experienced any problems with air quality. Not saying Stargazer didn't have those issues, just saying it's certainly not universal.

Sunset in Southwest Dallas county - 8/8/08

That view looks like it was taken from my home church, which is in the Mountain Creek Community.

It is a matter of public record. It needs to be looked up.

There was a lady who use to post here who was apart of Downwinders, she lost her husband to cancer and several dogs that she breed. She has the information and probably could provide you where to look it up. I have not followed up with her in awhile, she was advised to not talk at one point by her lawyers due to she was testifying in court.

She wasn't the mystery man who called me. When we talked with what little information she could reveal, it all came more home to me about what happened.

I was told this when I went to get an x ray after having had gone through a pretty severe bronchitus and my husband getting the pnuemonia( he had x rays too). The scar they told me was from a previous bout of bronchitus, so the bout I had didn't cause the scar.

As I stated prior too, some people can live their whole lives out there and nothing but then some get pretty sick. We were sick and I just couldn't move that way again due to it. I wish there were no issues if there wasn't any, we woud love to live over in Juniper Ridge or Lake Ridge. They are 2 of my favorite neighborhoods in DFW.

Yes I agree with Acntx, the xen0blue is way off. I live in Cedar Hill and it is very nice. I would much rather live here than Oak Cliff indeed. There is no comparison.

Thanks for the compliment. As current residents who have chosen to live in this area, we know our neighborhoods and communities the best. We know what is true and what is untrue. We know what is reality and what is simply perception.

Cedar Hill is where the affluent blacks from Oak Cliff moved to.

I would consider it middle class more than affluent blacks. Lakeridge excluded because those folks are certainly more affluent than most of Cedar Hill.

I agree with Grainraiser, Cedar Hill and DeSoto are middle to upper-middle class cities with a few notable affluent areas such as Lakeridge in Cedar Hill or Frost Farms and Regents Park in DeSoto. Places such as Duncanville, Lancaster, and Glenn Heights are more solidly middle class.

There is nothing "wrong" with the area, but if you want better schools go a little further south to Midlothian/Ovilla.
