Default Extended stay hotels/monthly rental in Denton??

Im relocating for school, no job lined up. I cant seem to find any monthly rentals or extended stay hotels in denton that dont cost an arm and a leg. Most complexes Ive contacted are unwilling to work with me and want me to have an entire years worth of rent in my bank account. : ( its just not doable. Im struggling with life!!! At this point, UNT housing also doesnt seem too likely. Any suggestion?? I dont want to go somewhere shady and get jacked my first night in town. ANY help is appreciated.

Have you checked into Value Place hotels which offer suites with kitchenettes for about $200/mo? No long term commitment. Comfortable and convenient.

There's one in Trophy Club. Not sure about Denton. But Denton's an easy commute up Hwy 377...

LINK: Value Place Trophy Club

Good luck!

There is a brand new Value Place in Denton on I-35 North just past University Drive (HWY 380). If you're willing to rent a room in a house, look on Craigs list dot come to under the "shared" link. You'll probably have to use Dallas as the city and search through those.

I just did a quick look on the website I just mentioned to you. There were quite a few listings in Denton for people needing a roommate with rent $400/month and under, with a couple of postings being around $250.

Value Place suites start about $200 by the week, not the month. Sorry for the typo in my post above.

I am in the same boat. The cheapest I have found is extended stay america which is 900 a month but you get $200 off for using the coupon code SAVE which comes to $700 a month. If anyone can beat that lemme know.
