I am interested in Baptist churches in the Lakewood area. Are there young families in the area? I would like for my children to have a place to worship where there are other children and their families. I am also very interested in a church where all ages worship together. We'll be in the Greenville/Royal area some this summer, so I wanted to get started looking. Thanks!

Not in Lakewood, but there is a Baptist church located at northwest corner of Royal/Greenville intersection. Not sure about the age and all of the membership . Gaston Oaks BC Home Page

Most Baptists around here go to Wilshire on Abrams or First in Downtown - my parents were founding members of Wilshire (my great-grandfather was a Baptist preacher) and I am a life-long member. Wilshire is known as moderate and First is the cradle of conservatism. Gaston Oaks was originally Gaston Ave. Baptist (now Criswell College - named for longtime First Baptist pastor).
