4 Those that LIKE living in Dallas - what do you not like (for fun)
Just for fun and keep it that way
Okay, this is for those that DO like living in the Dallas area over most other places. What do you NOT like about it?
No need to answer or post if you DO NOT like living in the Dallas area or Texas as we already all know you and your opinions. It is just that we all get accused of not being able to see any "negatives" about the area because we actually LIKE where we live. So I thought this would be fun.
I'll start:
The radio stations SUCK!!!!! Just as soon as one really gets a format you like they up and change again. URGH!!

LOL....how about those magic potholes? The ones that magically appear overnight on what was prefect pavement just yesterday. Also, in Preston Hollow it is so lush that bushes cover half the street signs...do i really need to carry clippers in my car?
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest...hehehe.

Bike riders that.....
Bike riders that think it's ok to ride down winding rural roads. I understand that biking is a fun sport and people get really into it, but I don't want to run over anyone. It seems like some of the bike riders are oblivious to the fact that there are cars behind them on the city streets. Find a trail, already.

I totally agree! I think that holds true with any location, not just the Dallas area...

* 2nd the coffee thing - not much of a coffee culture here.
* The seemingly inability for us to preserve historic buildings - it's always, "lets tear down and rebuild."
* Having to wait a few more years for the rail to get to DFW.
* Me not being independently wealthy.
