Does it matter between the difference of Denton or Collin County in Frisco?
Thanks!

wondering too, I don't think there is, but I would think one would pay either Denton or Collin county taxes? How are the school taxes figured out since often times you live in one county, but kids go to the other county's schools.

Good job, your learning Derek!
I don't see any advantages to living in Colin vs. Denton. Frisco is Frisco and the ammenities are shared by everyone. Would anyone disagree ?
East of Preston is Colin County I believe, so the area I like in SW Frisco (with the exception of Cob Hill which is Colin) is in Denton.

Frisco is building a wonderful, new recreation and aquatics center http://www.friscotexas.gov/departmen...x.aspx?id=1569
From what I understand, the residents of Frisco will get a reduced cost membership as compared to residents of the surrounding communities. Not sure if this is the norm tho.

I think Colin has a little more prestige, but I'm not sure what that buys you.
I like lower taxes and Frisco just lowered theirs again. 2.26% is the current rate now I believe.

What county is Plano in? Good point about the community college cost.
