I agree, his stats are all off, and it just sounds like he's talking out of his butt like all men do, haha. And yes, I'm male too.

Houston is more of a city while DFW is a region. Houston feels like a city dallas does not. Houston is more urban, more chaos (which might not be a good thing). In Greater Houston, everybody says they are FROM Houston, while in DFW if your from Arlington or Fort Worth then you say your from Arlington or Fort Worth not Dallas. While the population of the metros might be near equal, Houston is definetely more of a city than Dallas, and not too many people can argue that. Houston's downtown is way better and Houston's uptown is way better than anything Dallas has. Sorry for the bashing, my brother lives in Dallas and we have this argument many times, lol.

How so? Is that just your opinion, or can you back that up w/some data? If you say TI makes chips that go in computers that are used throughout the world, Atlantans can say Coke is distributed to 200 countries around the world. I'm just curious what your thinking is.
Truthfully can you really argue that Atlanta is AS important as Houston is internationally? Houston has been known worldwide for decades, while atlanta is just now gaining popularity, and most people in other parts of the world dont even know that coca-cola is based in ATL, they just know its from the US. Atl is a great city, but Houston is on another level internationally. Dont forget Houston is the energy capital of the world! you cant get more international than that. lol.

it looks like your stat of N. Texas adding more than 240k more that Houston is based on REGIONAL numbers rather than metro areas.

Nice to see we're keeping the age old Houston vs. Dallas threads going here...

Is everything a rivalry in Texas ? Suburb vs. Urban, East vs. West, Finance a home or pay cash, Old Home vs. new, Aggie vs. Longhorn, CA vs. TX...Houston vs. Dallas. We need to have a Monday Night Football theme playing in the background while you read it....

2-Frisco is the best city
3- DC is the best city world wide and is the true (capital of the world)
