Default Rockwall v. Heath?

I was up in Rockwall this past week and love it!! The houses were beautiful and I loved the High School (huge). We had pretty much made the decision to go to Rockwall.. it's a toss up between a house in the Shores or a house in Caruth Lake subdivision. However, we found a house with 3 acres in Heath. I know Heath is next to Rockwall and it has a great school as well, but would like some input on the differences. Since my children are all school age children and will be going there for years to come. If we don't get relocated again that is. Please help. Thanks.

If the house on 3 acres is in the same ballpark price as the house in the Shores and it meets your housing needs, I would go with it without hesitation. The land price in Heath is more expensive than Rockwall. I think the return long term would be phenomenal. It is a more custom environment in Heath vs The Shores where your house would blend in among others.

Welcome to the neighborhood!
