I was at the farmer's market this morning while my wife, son and I were waiting for Rush to open.

There is now a clear label that shows what products are being sold by the growers. Not just stall by stall, bur product by product. We made a point of buying from the growers, there are more of them every week. The only thing we bought not from the grower was some spinach (it was good looking and cheap)

Hey Splash, Don't know which part of DFW you actually live in.....we've been to the market in Al Markaz in Carrollton (off Trinity Mills). They had lots of produce like bitter melon, which my husband (who's South Indian) said his mother cooks a lot. If you go to Al Markaz (or other places, I'm sure), pick up free copies of DesiPages & Bollywood Magazine. They should be helpful for finding other shops. The advertisements for Taj Mahal markets (suggested by other poster) say they have the largest Indian markets in DFW. Also, you might try to search using "India" on this forum. There's a couple of members who are Indian, and I know we've discussed restaurants on here before, not sure about markets... Welcome to Dallas!

Thanks for the info.
I haven't been to the FM since the spring when a dealer sold me a so-called Kent mango that was not a Kent mango. I got tired of being scammed.
Sounds like things are getting better.
