Yeah, but right around the corner is Jeff Spark's " Ye Ole Butcher Shoppe". You ain't had a burger until you had a Buffalo Burger!
I will have to try Kelly's. My office is just a few blocks away.
PS: Buffalo Burgers are on the menu on Tuesday & Thursday. If you ever been to a concert at Oakpoint Park, Jeff was the guy cooking the burgers there.

YUM, LOVE Kelly's. There is nothing on the menu that we have tried we did not like. Queso w/ spicy beef. Brisket Tacos. Nachos (are a meal enough to split). Hamburgers. Sandwiches. ALL GOOD! Oh, and it is Friday = Live Music on the patio. Woo-HOO!

Kelly's Eastside is in the new downtown Plano right off the SE corner of 15th Street and Avenue K (aka Highway 5 or sometimes Plano Parkway). In the past 5 years, new condos have been built in these locations with retail/restaurants on the ground floors. From Lakewood, go north on Central, exit #29 or 15th street, turn right and go about a half a mile and look to your right.
Ye Ole Butcher Shoppe is a few blocks before this across from Haggard Park.
Or take the Red Line, get off at Downtown Plano and walk about a block to the east. |
