Hi all,

We're flying in with three beloved pets in two weeks! Unfortunately, we're going to be in a temp. living sitaution for a week where we wouldn't be able to care for them appropriately. I'm looking for a pet sitting/transportation service that can pick up the animals from us at DFW and take them for a few days or send them to a vet who can board them until we move into our apartment. Has anyone used (and been happy with) a local pet sitting service who might be able to give us a hand? It's already going to be a stressful day trying to move our belongings (with a toddler in tow!) -- I want to make sure our pets are well taken care of after a three hour plane ride.

Thanks so much!

I board my pets//dog and cat//at PetSmart in Southake off 1709--maybe 10-15 min west from DFW north exit to 114 depending on traffic--they have doggie day camp as well as other services besides boarding//which you pay for additionally
your pets must have current innoc and dogs must have bordatella every 6 mo--they cannot have had a bordatella within 48 hrs of boarding...

not saying they are the absolute best around but I have been pretty happy with them over the past 3-4 years--
you could call and see if they have transport to and from the airport

maybe you and your spouse could split the duties and one take the pets and one take the child/bags...
it will take a while to get your pets from the airlines I think--hope they do good job with the transport

what airline/airport are you using--some have better record than others for dealing with pet transport...
