Exclamation Pediatrician please: Urgent info request

I'm looking for a good, excellent, pediatrician for my baby boy who's 8 months old. I've heard of Dr Allan R. deVilleneuve, and have made an appt w/ his office w/in the next couple of weeks. Does anyone know anything else about Dr Allan R. deVilleneuve; or, if you have any other suggestions for any other pediatrician, my son and I would greatly appreciate it.. Thank you!!

Dr. C. Daryl Curry --

Oak Cliff at the Methodist Medical Center

Very good with the kids. Great lead nurse, as well.

I like Dr Curry very much too.

We also use Forest Lane Pediatrics.

Picking a pediatrician usually depends on where you live...where do you live?

We use Deborah Bain in Frisco, but we like a "crunchier" type of Dr. who doesn't love to throw antibiotics at kids for every sniffle.

Oh my goodness your baby will be in SUCH good hands!! We have used Dr. Devilleneuve for our 3 children in Plano. He and his staff have always been wonderful. Their office is so understanding. Even when we didn't have health insurance they cut us a break and only charged us $60 for a visit for my infant son who had the flu!! Then proceeded to give us a generic prescription and told us where to go to fill it for cheaper! We love him so much, we had his son (a general surgeon) take care of my grandmother a few years ago! Do not worry. He is an old fashioned doctor. Very blunt and matter of fact. He doesn't throw antibiotics around. He discovered my toddler had high cholesterol and sent him to the best pediatric cardiologist (Dr. Damaris Wright) who set him on the right track with diet and exercise and no drugs (well except for Niacin nightly) but he dropped 20 lbs!
Anyway, I can go on and on. If you want more info PM me.
Also, he discovered that my daughter had amblyopia (blind in one eye) during a well child check up and referred us to a top opthalmologist in Plano.
Ok...done gushing.
